英属处女岛（BVI）公司可在香港上市
 
香港交易所 (「港交所」) 于二零零九年十二月十五日宣布，在英属处女岛成
立注册的公司可在港交所上市。除香港外，英属处女岛公司也可在其他主要的
证券交易所上市，包括美国纳斯达克及纽约证券交易所、伦敦证券交易所的AIM
市场以及新加坡交易所。
 
港交所已于二零零九年九月刊发指引信，载列适用于海外公司的简化程序，因
此，拟在香港上市的英属处女岛公司现时可依循该等简化程序提交上市申请。

BVI Companies Can List in Hong Kong
 
On 15 December 2009, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong ("HKEx")
announced that it will allow companies incorporated in the British Virgin
Islands ("BVI") to be listed on its exchange. Besides Hong Kong, BVI
companies can also be listed on other major stock exchanges including
NASDAQ and NYSE in the US, AIM in London and SGX in Singapore.
 
BVI companies wishing to list in Hong Kong may now follow the streamlined
procedures applicable to overseas companies as set out in the HKEx
Guidance Letter of September 2009.

英属处女岛及开曼群岛被纳入经合组织的「白名单」内
 
经济合作与发展组织 (「经合组织」) 已于 2009 年 8 月 14 日把英属处女岛及
开曼群岛纳入其「白名单」内，表示此两个司法管辖区在整体上已实施了国际
上议定的税务标准。
 
签订了至少十二份的税务信息交换协议的国家才合资格被纳入白名单。

目前，英属处女岛已与澳洲、丹麦、法罗群岛、法国、芬兰、格陵兰、冰岛、新西兰、挪威、瑞典、英国及美国签订了税务信息交换协议。
 
至于开曼群岛，现时已与丹麦、法罗群岛、芬兰、格陵兰、冰岛、爱尔兰、荷兰、新西兰、挪威、瑞典、英国及美国 签订了税务信息交换协议。
 
BVI and Cayman Islands Recognised on OECD "White List"
 
On 14 August 2009, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development ("OECD") has added the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and the Cayman Islands on their "white list" of jurisdictions that have substantially implemented the internationally agreed tax standard.
 
A country would have to sign a minimum of 12 Tax Information Exchange Agreements ("TIEAs") to be eligible for the white list.
 
The BVI now has TIEAs in place with Australia, Denmark, Faroe Islands, France, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, New
Zealand, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
 
The Cayman Islands now has TIEAs in place with Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland,
Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Cayman Islands Government Annual Licence Fees Increase
 
Effective 1 January 2010, the Cayman Islands government fees for company incorporations, annual licence
renewals and associated technical services have all been increased.
 
The revised government fees for other company types and technical services may be obtained on request from
